A Story From The Owner
"One thing I always remember since I was young was my mothers yard sales. My mom used to host yard sales often where they would sell off a lot of stuff that we didn't use or want. what I didn't know is my parents liked to buy stuff on sale/clearance and would usually sell it new or slightly used. they like to make some extra money doing that. I think that's where my entrepreneurial spirit comes from.
Well at these yard sales, I would always have to help my mom out with bringing out all the items and setting up the tables, placing the pricing signs on everything and I'd go out with my dad to put all the yard sale signs on the stop signs to let people know what was going on. from there I got my first taste of marketing and sales without knowing it. I hated it, but I also loved it. I hated that I couldn't play video games or watch cartoons but I loved watching my parents sell stuff. so much so that one day I asked my mom if I could have something to sell. so my mom decided to bake some pineapple empanadas for me and I set up a little table off to the side offering them for 20 cents each selling in bags of 5.
This was our ritual for several years, but man did it come with some fun challenges for me as a minipreneur. Fast forward a few years and I was the kid selling candy bars at school and trading Pokémon and Yugioh cards. Now I've ran a successful photography side business and done a number of freelance gigs that have taught me so much more about the marketing and advertising world. out of everything, the one thing I always came back to is I love the business world, I love sales, I love marketing and the psychology a customer goes through before deciding to make a purchase all the way through the transaction. its fascinating to me. I have a drive for it and I want to take my knowledge and expertise and help others realize their passion. I want to help other businesses grow doing the one thing I realize I was born and molded to do. That is why Tirado Media was Born"

MEET GILBERT
Hey!
I'm Gilbert Tirado. A little about myself. My main job has been working as a Pharmacy Tech for almost 10 years. Mostly retail pharmacy; I've been in retail most of my working life, I worked many different positions from cart pusher all the way up to department manager overseeing several departments. I picked up a lot about customer service there. I went to school and got a degree in sound engineering, then went to school for business management. Now I'm currently in school for computer science with an emphasis on data collection and storage. All my electives for my associates and bachelors have been marketing and advertising. I had many side jobs while I was doing all this trying to find the best fit for me. I was a dj for a while, tried to make my own home recording studio, I was a real estate wholesaler and flipped a couple houses, I've been in a handful of MLM's I started a photography business that has been going the last 5 years that has grown from a 300$ camera to over $10,000 in film assets. generating a steady side income.
I'm not writing this to brag or say anything other than....I've been through stuff. Some of these adventures worked out, many didn't but along the way, i learned A LOT about myself, about business and about people. I have a good understanding of how people behave in the marketplace and I believe that makes me a reliable asset and thus makes my company a reliable asset to have your company invest in.
